Securities Litigation

 

MWL personnel have been involved in cases related to securities claims.  In one case, MWL personnel were engaged by counsel for Boeing in defense of a "fraud-on-the market" claim.  Our work involved the detailed study and analysis of production operations and schedule for all commercial airplane lines, as well as assisting in analyzing accounting and damages issues. 

 

In other claims, MWL personnel have been asked to conduct stock price event studies in order to assess whether or not publicly traded security prices were inflated as a result of alleged fraud-on-the-market.
