Ron’s practice focuses on construction and commercial disputes. He primarily works with public owners in review of construction claims on a variety of projects, but also works for contractors in preparing claims or reviewing claims of subcontractors. His commercial cases generally involve matters of breach of contract, lost profits, dealer termination, and intellectual property claims. He has been retained to assist numerous companies in scores of industries, in both commercial and construction matters. As example commercial engagements, he has been involved with matters involving intellectual property rights of high-tech and low-tech companies and breach of contract and lost profit claims of manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers, of medical, consumer, and technology products. On construction matters, among a wide variety of projects, he has provided claim review assistance to electrical, telephone, water, and wastewater utilities, private construction such as casinos and adult care facilities, universities, hospitals, school districts, public improvement districts, and municipal, county and state builders of roads, tunnels, bridges, rail-lines, and airports, as well as manufacturing facilities. In addition, Ron has prepared claims on large public projects, and has been involved with a number of shipbuilding matters.
