Our Team
MWL ADVISORY, LLC employs great people. Ron Maus, Bob Wagner, and Jeff Lounsberry founded the firm. Ron, Bob, and Jeff are each acknowledged as highly capable expert witnesses, and have extensive experience in the audit of billings under contracts and the preparation and analysis of economic claims for damages in numerous industries and for many types of damage assertions. The base work effort supporting such expert effort for damages studies might include in-depth accounting analysis and economic study or forensic financial investigations. Separately, we might be asked to offer generalized or specific business consulting.
Each of Ron, Bob (both licensed by the State of Washington as Certified Public Accountants), and Jeff (a Certified Management Accountant) has an extensive background in consulting, with emphasis on matters related to accounting or finance and the implications of damages being sought.
In addition to Ron, Bob, and Jeff, Brett Swanson, a Certified Management Accountant, enhances our professional team, having worked with us for fifteen years. Carolyn Sullivan, a Managing Consultant licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Washington, has worked with Ron and Bob on and off for more than 30 years. Jon Maus is a Managing Consultant who has worked with our team for a number of years. Jessica Gates is a Senior Consultant who joined the team in 2021. Debbie Maus serves as our Clerical Support / Data Analyst, assisting in the organization of documents and information and in heavy input and analysis of data sets.
Our team is augmented, from time to time, with other consultants who have met our requirements for experience and education to serve with us. We draw such additions to our team only from people known to us in our own prior experience.
